Cards and a quiz here; scheduled reviews in the app
Flip a card to see its meaning. Hard collects a card to revisit after this pass; Good and Easy move on. Ratings stay only in this screen. No long-term review schedule is saved. In the app, the SM-2 spaced-repetition algorithm uses your rating to calculate each word's next review date.
Which words are included in this preview?
Each JLPT N5/N4 and TOPIK I/II Core pack has 12 sample words. The default Japanese N5 sample includes 食べる (to eat) and 飲む (to drink); N4 includes 届ける (to deliver) and 決める (to decide). The word-and-example list below practice changes with your chosen language and level. These samples demonstrate the study method. They are not a complete syllabus or an official exam vocabulary list.
Learn the kanji reading alongside the word
In the Japanese sample, 食べる is read たべる (taberu). The front shows the Japanese word and its reading; the back shows its meaning and an example. Choose Korean to see Korean words instead. Both samples use English meanings, translations and quiz choices on this English page. Tap the card to switch between them.
Anchor words in context with examples
Each card includes a short example like 朝ごはんを食べる (to eat breakfast) with a translation. Check the meaning, then look at how the word is used in the example.
Quiz yourself for retrieval practice
Answer 5 questions by choosing a meaning from 4 options. After you answer, the quiz shows the result and an example. If your answer is wrong, it also shows the correct meaning.
After the quiz, retry only the missed words or try another five questions. The retry score stays separate from the first round. This is temporary practice: a new quiz, level, learning direction, mode or page reload clears it. It is not a saved review schedule.
