Set sail and focus with PiPi.
25 minutes of focus is one voyage. Earn a treasure each time you finish.

25 minutes on, 5 minutes off. The simplest focus loop, right in your browser.
A Pomodoro timer alternates fixed blocks of focus and rest so you procrastinate less and burn out less. No install, no sign-up. The timer and your daily session count run entirely in your browser — nothing is sent to our servers.
What the Pomodoro Technique is
Developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s using a tomato-shaped kitchen timer (pomodoro is Italian for tomato), the method treats one focus block — usually 25 minutes — as a single "pomodoro," followed by a 5-minute break. After four sessions you take a longer 15–30 minute rest. The small promise of "just 25 minutes" lowers the barrier to starting, which is exactly why it works so well for studying, coding, and writing.
Is 25 minutes the right length?
25 minutes is only a starting point. Deep work often flows better at 45–50 minutes, while on scattered days 15 minutes is kinder. This timer lets you switch focus (15 / 25 / 50) and break (5 / 10) with one tap. What matters is not the exact length but creating one uninterrupted block.
How to actually use your breaks
Scrolling social media during a 5-minute break leaves your brain more tired. Standing up, drinking water, looking out a window, or a quick stretch — breaks that pull your eyes off the screen — raise the quality of the next focus block. For long breaks, a short walk helps.
For students and knowledge workers
- Exam & certification prep: splitting subjects into 25-minute blocks turns effort into a visible count ("12 pomodoros today").
- Engineering & design: 50-minute focus + 10-minute break creates deep-work blocks.
- Remote work: filling the gaps between meetings with one or two pomodoros cuts down on drift.
Focus that pays off keeps you going
This web timer rewards you with a small treasure each time you finish a focus session. It sounds like a gimmick, but an immediate reward for finished work makes the next session easier to start. The mobile app PiPi Focus expands the idea: collected treasures unlock 10 islands, a focus streak keeps your momentum, and ambient sounds like waves and seagulls deepen immersion. Get a feel for it on the web, then continue in the app.
